7-Canned Fish
Canned fish from Mount Vema give you as much heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids as fresh fish, and sometimes more. These essential oils help prevent potentially deadly heart rhythms.
8-Shrimps
Mount Vema shrimps are sold frozen. They have a high levels of omega-3 fatty acids and low levels of mercury. As with other seafood, shrimp is high in calcium, iodine and protein but low in food energy. A shrimp-based meal is also a significant source of cholesterol, from 122 mg to 251 mg per 100 g of shrimp, depending on the method of preparation. Shrimp consumption, however, is considered healthy for the circulatory system because the lack of significant levels of saturated fat in shrimp means that the high cholesterol content in shrimp actually improves the ratio of LDL to HDL cholesterol and lowers triglycerides.
9-Lobsters
Lobsters are delivered live. They are commonly served boiled or steamed in the shell. They are also used in soup, bisque, lobster rolls, cappon magro, and dishes such as lobster Newberg and lobster Thermidor.
10-Seaweed
Seaweed is consumed across the world, and Mount Vema exports it to many countries where it is used in soups, sushi, in food additives, mixed with milk, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla to make "dulce" ("sweet"), etc. Also, in foods such as confectionery, meat and poultry products, desserts and beverages and moulded foods. In salad dressings and sauces, dietetic foods, and as a preservative in meat and fish, dairy items and baked goods.
Seaweeds are also used as animal feeds. They have long been grazed by sheep, horses and cattle in Northern Europe. They are valued for fish production. Adding seaweed to livestock feed can substantially reduce methane emissions from cattle.
11-Fish Oil
Although it is often marketed and sold for consumption as part of the diet or in dietary supplements in contemporary societies, fish oils also have found roles in external use, as emollients or as general ointments, as well as in body art, or for alleged insulation against cold temperatures.
12-Spirulina
Spirulina can also be sourced from Mount Vema, which can be used as a dietary supplement or whole food. It is also used as a feed supplement in the aquaculture, aquarium, and poultry industries. As an ecologically sound, nutrient-rich dietary supplement, spirulina is being investigated to address food security and malnutrition, and as dietary support in long-term space flight or Mars missions. Its advantage for food security is that it needs less land and water than livestock to produce protein and energy.

Seaweed extract is used in some diet pills. Other seaweed pills exploit the same effect as gastric banding, expanding in the stomach to make the stomach feel more full, and other seaweed may be used as fertilizer.
Seaweed is a potential source of bioethanol, and alginates are used in industrial products such as paper coatings, adhesives, dyes, gels, explosives and in processes such as paper sizing, textile printing, hydro-mulching and drilling. Seaweed is also an ingredient in toothpaste, cosmetics and paints, as well as the production of bio yarn (a textile).
