Capital House, the executive branch of the Vema Seamount Territory, responsible for the administration of the floating City project for Mount Vema, headed by the Prime Minister of Mount Vema, seeks to appoint a Project Coordinator to coordinate the directives of the Vema Seamount Authority to project coordinators of all relevant royal and ministerial departments.
You do not need to be a Citizen of Mount Vema to apply for this vacancy, and you will be expected to work from home until further notice.
The successful candidate will be the ‘General Project Coordinator for Capital House Affairs’, and will be responsible for coordinating and assisting with the drafting of the rules with regards to the day-to-day management of the City of Mount Vema Project; the city of Mount Vema projects overseas, and foreign trade and commerce with foreign governments that would support the overall city project.
As a General Project Coordinator, you will need to follow a standard process, as defined by government protocol, and oversee other departments and check their progress with regards to:
Salary and Benefits
The salary is $80,000 US dollars per year. Paid monthly in arrears.
The benefits include paid medical coverage, paid vacation, sick days, holidays, and a pension plan. Benefits are only applicable after you complete three months on the job.
You will work normal business hours (Mount Vema Time Zone = UTC+1) Monday to Friday however, you may be expected to work additional hours to meet deadlines without overtime compensation.
As you will be working outside Mount Vema, you may be provided with a private Office at a later stage however, initially you will be expected to work from home. Travel is almost always involved in this role, and therefore the work environment may vary quite dramatically day to day.

You will lead a project team to meet tight deadlines, which means you may be working under pressure.
A professional dress code and working environment will be the norm.
Most of the time you will be office based or work for home, but you should expect to travel to visit project sites, attend project team meetings in person or virtually.
You can apply for this vacancy with a degree in any subject. However, a degree in business or project management will help but is not a pre-requisite. Your experience or knowledge will be more important than a business or project management degree.

Training is not provided. Except for the use of the software to help you monitor and coordinate projects. You will be expected to develop your own ways of work, proving that you follow the protocol and the expected codes of conduct.

You will need to track work to be completed, set deadlines and delegate tasks to project team and other project coordinators, identifying any potential risks. Ultimately, you're responsible for completing the project work in line with the plan and will often report progress to the Vema Seamount Authority in his capacity as acting Prime Minister of Mount Vema, until a new Prime Minister is elected or appointed.
