Handy Deed, is looking for a Construction Manager for the Port of Mount Vema project, to work with other building professionals in planning, budgeting, and delivery. Ensuring safety standards and procedures are met and that the project is delivered on time and to approved budget.
The successful candidate will initially coordinate the final plans including equipment, and logistics, and will appoint a site manager, to delegate the works to ensuring that the Port of Mount Vema project is completed safely, within an agreed timeframe and budget. You will manage the practical side of every stage of construction.
Mount Vema citizenship is not a requirement to apply for this vacancy.
You will also supervise and direct a range of operations on the construction site and ensure that all tradespeople and contractors are working together to an agreed plan and that progress is being made. You will oversee the whole Port of Mount Vema site, through site managers working on more complex parts of the Port of Mount Vema project.

Salary and Benefits
The salary is $80,000 US dollars per year. Paid monthly in arrears.
The benefits include paid medical coverage, paid vacation, sick days, holidays, and a pension plan. Benefits, including performance bonus, are only applicable after you complete three months on the job.
You will work normal business hours 9am to 5pm (Mount Vema Time Zone = UTC+1) Monday to Friday however, you may be expected to work additional hours to meet deadlines, including working at night or over public holidays due to constraints of the site. You will be expected to travel to the site, and sometimes staying away from home.
Initially, you will be working from home outside Mount Vema, however you will be provided with an Office on site at a later stage. Travel is almost always involved in this role, and therefore the work environment may vary quite dramatically day to day.
