The Mount Vema Ministry of Housing, seeks to appoint a Housing Manger Officer for its International Housing Department, to help to facilitate successful tenancies by supporting members of the Mount Vema community overseas. Mount Vema citizenship is not a requirement to apply for this vacancy. As a housing manager, you will manage housing and related services on behalf of His Mount Vema Majesty’s Government. Your role will involve managing a designated patch of housing and keeping in regular contact with tenants, looking after rental income and dealing with repairs and nuisance issues. You will work with specific clients, such as community members who have reached State Pension age, Mount Vema citizens and employees of Mount Vema entities who are on law income, community members in need of temporary accommodation, citizens living overseas with a child or children attending a local Mount Vema academy, people who are not citizens of Mount Vema but work for a Mount Vema entity overseas, and people who are not citizens of Mount Vema but have their child or children attending a Mount Vema academy. You will have line management responsibility for a team of housing officers in countries and cities assigned to you, including rent arrears staff, tenancy support officers, and participation in more strategic projects. Responsibilities As an overseas housing manager officer, you will need to:
Salary and Benefits $30,000 US dollars per year for housing assistant $40,000 US dollars per year for housing officer $50,000 US dollars per year for housing manager $60,000 US dollars per year for senior housing manager Salaries are paid monthly in arrears. The benefits include paid medical coverage, paid vacation, sick days, holidays, and a pension plan. Benefits, including bonus, are only applicable after you complete three months on the job. Working hours You will work normal business hours 9am to 5pm (Mount Vema Time Zone = UTC+1) Monday to Friday however, it may be necessary to attend evening meetings with tenants or residents. When assigned tasks in a supported housing project, you may be required to work shifts to cover a 24-hour rota. Work Conditions As you will be working outside Mount Vema, you may be provided with an Office at a later stage however, initially you will be expected to work from home. Travel is almost always involved in this role, and therefore the work environment may vary quite dramatically day to day.
