The Royal Mount Vema Geological Survey was formed today by His Majesty King Peter Goldishman to advance geoscientific knowledge of the Kingdom of Mount Vema by means of systematic surveying, research, monitoring and study Vema Seamount's volcanology, and hazardous, to predict and record eruptive activity, and to mitigate volcanic hazards to life and property.
The RMVGS Observatory will advise His Mount Vema Majesty’s Government on all aspects of geoscience, as well as providing impartial advice on geological matters to the public, academics and industry.
The scientific agency will be employing teams of volcanologists to study and organize frequently underwater visits to Vema Seamount. Although Vema Seamount is not an active volcano, the agency will maintain a close observation. The major focus will be to predict eruptions, as there is currently no accurate way to do this, but predicting it, just like predicting earthquakes, could save many lives worldwide.

The Right to Self-Determination
Many believe because our community is not a member of the United Nations and is only just over a decade old, doing business with the Kingdom of Mount Vema is not possible for foreign nationals and foreign companies seeking to take advantage of the business opportunities the floating city project is creating. Nothing could be further from the truth. The territory doesn't need a United Nations membership to function as a sovereign territory, or to exercise its inalienable right for self-determination
