Handy Deed the leading construction company of Mount Vema is looking for staff to work on a Jack Up Crane Platform and on a Flat Barge over Vema Seamount from January 2019. The position is open today for immediate start for training and travel arrangements.
Candidates such as ballast engineers, barge managers, and platform managers must be able to handle hydraulics. The support staff needed includes cleaners, housekeepers, chefs, welders, carpenters, and construction Labor (with concrete/cement mixing experience). The candidates will live and work on the semi-sub flat top barge with a living quarter that is installed for accommodation purposes. The barge has a ballast system to maintain stability. The accommodation unit has one mess room, a galley and one relaxation room on the top deck. There are 5 single cabins all with private bathroom and 4 double cabins where three of these have private bathroom. There is a technical room in the accommodation unit and wardrobe facilities available on the barge. The engine room is fitted with 3 Lister engines where one acts as generator and two are powering the ballast pump. One has also a hydraulic pump for the hydraulic system fitted. There is also a water maker with and a sewage treatment system. On deck there are containers for storage and a workshop. Salaries start from 20,000 golles a year (about $40,000 US dollars) depending on experience. When you spend your salary in Mount Vema you spend in golles, but when transferring or spending your salary outside Mount Vema you can spend it in any currency of your choice.
