Procurement Notice No. 2019/000048 - Currency Exchange Agency Services
This Invitation for Tender is in line with the Vema Seamount Authority General Procurement Notice. GolleCard, the management contractor hereinafter referred to as “the Employer”, intends using The City of Mount Vema Project - Bond Fund towards the cost of providing foreign exchange services during Phase 2 of the City of Mount Vema Developments.
The Employer now invites tenders from contractors for the following contract:
To provide foreign exchange services - to buy and sell the currency of Mount Vema outside the Kingdom of Mount Vema in areas where the service is required to meet demand. Selling at a higher exchange rate or adjusted to ensure a profit, as well as any commission or fee which may be charged, and to keep an eye on the rates quoted by competitors, subject to His Mount Vema Majesty's government foreign exchange controls and other regulations. The tenderer will be required to register as money service business and will be subject to Mount Vema anti-money laundering measures.
To express interest, and to make an offer to provide foreign exchange services, and to be qualified for the award of this contract, tenderers must satisfy the following minimum criteria:
1- Have a Mount Vema bank account (an account can be opened with the RBMV Bank.
2- Pay the tender engagement fee of 1000 golles. Note: the tender engagement fee is not refundable. It enables the bidder to access the documents associated with this procurement and any other procurement documents published during a period of 12 months.

Once tender engagement fee is received, access to procurement documents will be provided.
Tenders shall be opened daily, and shall close as soon as the procurement meets the right proposals.
The winner shall be announced as soon as the contract has been awarded.
