Shipping lane traffic notification services introduced to help with security and logistics

October 29, 2021 – His Mount Vema Majesty’s Government has introduced a new notification service to be managed by the Royal Mount Vema Coast Guard to notify contractors, subcontractors, and government agencies with detail information about the ships sailing through Mount Vema waters.
 
The service will help the private sector create for potential business opportunities a database of ships that regularly cross Mount Vema waters and database of ship owners that could play a key role in delivering logistics, to what will be first the provisional and later the Port of Mount Vema.
 
According to the Royal Mount Vema Coast Guard, the service will also be able to send notification alerts to His Mount Vema Majesty’s Security Services of the presence of ships in the area with their Automatic Identification System (AIS) switched off.
 
As Mount Vema prepares for onsite construction activities, logistics and security are becoming a top priority in the agenda of His Mount Vema Majesty’s Government.
 
Companies, government agencies, and individuals with access to notifications from the Coast Guard, will be alerted to vessels’ progress as they cross through Mount Vema’s territory and its adjacent waters. The data will include Voyage Data, alerts when any vessels change their destination, transhipment data, and more.
