Travel information to Mount Vema to be updated regularly from October

From October this year, the Government will publish regular updates to assist people travelling to the Kingdom of Mount Vema – The Vema Seamount Territory for work, according to people familiar with general travel arrangements.  
 
Personnel will initially travel in five different groups. The first group (Group 1) which will be mainly Coast Guard personnel, site security guards and commercial divers will arrive to prepare and pave the way for Group 2.
 
Group 1, the security staff will provide a vital service to workers and seafarers when they need it most. They will play an integral role in coordinating emergency responses to incidents relating to coastguard missions, gathering and analysing information to inform operational plans and enable delivery. They will also provide essential maritime safety advice to people at work on building site and respond to reports concerning debris and illegal fishing activities.
 
They will assist in the preparedness and response to major emergencies through the maintenance and verification of appropriate records, databases and plans. Alert any related information regarding Maritime Security, assessing information and passing it to the most appropriate authority while updating databases.
 
They will also provide maritime safety information, safety advice and maritime information, such as tides and weather, navigational risks, safety advice and procedures. Monitor vessel movements through the Marine Traffic Management Systems, identifying anomalies, intervening and responding to them, providing information and advice to vessels and incident response and reporting.
 
Commercial diver who will also form part of Group 1, will be filming and photograph underwater sites, to prepare the ground to guide crane operators who will arrive later with Group 2. The divers will inspection equipment and structures that are below the surface of water and make sure that any bad equipment or structure is safely removed, while preparing to perform activities related to underwater search and rescue, salvage, recovery and cleanup operations, making sure that any waste is removed to prevent pollution in the sea.
 
They will prepare the ground for Group 2, the Project Architects, Civil Engineers and Naval Engineers, Accommodation staff, chefs, housekeeping, cleaners, entertainers etc., who will arrive after, and who, will prepare the ground for Group 3.
 
Group 3 will be followed by Group 4 and Group 5, the labor force that will follow and will be arriving by the end of November. The government, according to people familiar with operations is hiring extra staff to fast-track visa applications for everyone travelling to the territory for work.
