Service Fees
As of August 3rd, 2021, The Mount Vema Postal Service (Mount Vema Royal Mail) has started charging Mount Vema entities to pay for the maintenance of the Mount Vema postal network. The current account maintenance fee is 20.00 golles per month paid annually, which includes 10% VAT payable to His Mount Vema Majesty’s Revenue Services.
The service fees apply to Mount Vema entities, Mount Vema citizens, and owners of Mount Vema Title Plans who are required by law to have a Mount Vema off-plan address to receive official mail. All Mount Vema entities, citizens, and owners of Title Plans, must have a Mount Vema off-plan address for legal and filling purposes, to indicate that they are citizens or legal entities registered with the Vema Seamount Territory.
A Mount Vema off-plan address, is different from a contact or service address. A contact or service address does not have to be where the person lives or, the organization conducts its actual business or trade. Contact or service address can be anywhere in the world. The account maintenance fee is not the same as services fees which is paid per service provided, and will be used to boost security and privacy of the messaging service sent through the Mount Vema webpages, as well as maintaining the confidentiality and encryption of data.
