Royal Mount Vema Coast Guard
In cooperation with the Royal Mount Vema Reserve Bank as Authorized by The Vema Seamount Authority, the Royal Mount Vema Coast Guard is authorized to reward up to 50,000 golles in foreign exchange to any vessel (ship owners, companies in charge of vessels sailing through Mount Vema, ship captains or any other officer) sailing through the Mount Vema territorial waters who report the presence of any vessel with its Automatic Identification System (AIS) switched off in Mount Vema.
The reports must include the name of the vessel, approximate location, date and time to enable the Coast Guard or any other division of His Mount Vema Majesty’s security services to react accordingly. Reports must lead to a successful on spot fine, forfeiture of the vessel, or seizure. The Royal Mount Vema Coast Guard, is a division of the Mount Vema Royal Guards, responsible for patrolling the Kingdom of Mount Vema territorial waters, to ensure safety of personnel and property. The agency monitors radios and responds to emergency situations, including but not limited to fire, medical, law enforcement, lifesaving and disabled vessel rescue calls in the area. Conduct routine inspections of vessels, moorings and dock lines; remove navigational hazards and illegal fishing boats.
All Coast Guard Patrol Officers, are trained and able to safely operate and navigate patrol boats within the territorial waters and locate and assist disabled boats, vessels and passengers. Tactfully communicate information, including maritime policies, rules and regulations. Prepare watch logs and incident reports to document shift activities, and complete other special reports as assigned by the Coast Guard Commander.

Agents are trained and able to operate multi-channel radios, cash drawer, computer, and miscellaneous office equipment. Calculate, receive and record payments for maritime or harbor services. Agents are also expected when on duty to provide exemplary customer service to all individuals by demonstrating a willingness to be attentive, understanding, responsive, fair, courteous and respectful, and to actively participate in maintaining a positive customer service environment.
