District of Neverland

​Neverland is an administrative division of the Kingdom of Mount Vema – The Vema Seamount Territory, as well as a District of the City of Mount Vema Project, and the Capital of the Kingdom. As a City Project, the District will be ​divided into seven neighbourhoods with a population capacity of about 50,000+ people.

Neverland Neighborhoods

On this webpage are the illustrations of the residential properties for the floating City of Mount Vema, District of Neverland. At present, the Mount Vema Government runs the territory from its diplomatic premises overseas. However, the Capital of the Kingdom of Mount Vema will be here, at the District of Neverland–Seat of the Monarchy, home of diplomatic premises, embassies, consulates, and the multinationals gearing up to stamp their presence in the territory. Neverland houses will be the most expensive in Mount Vema, where a property could cost you more than 16 million golles. Mount Vema will be one of these places where the sense of community will be unique. But no other this district will be as unique as Neverland, where residents are expected to enjoy a great level of privacy. In Mount Vema security, and privacy, will be number one priority, so much so that even the media is expected to be highly regulated. The properties are designed to promote a sustainable way of life, protect the environment, preserve conservative values, as well as embracing innovation, thus providing a safe environment to do business, and to prosper.

​District Governance

District Administration and Representation in Congress
The district is administered by a Governor who is elected by the people for a term of four years. The Governor has a seat in the House of Representatives (The Congress of Mount Vema) where he/she works to protect the interest of the district. 

When district elections take place, the district neighbourhoods also elect their Representatives for Congress for a term of four years. The Representatives are referred to as:

with a seat in the House of Representatives (The Congress of Mount Vema) where they will work to protect the interest of the people they are elected to represent.   

Elections
The sections that will make the City of Mount Vema are currently being built outside Mount Vema however, owners of a Mount Vema Title Plan can already vote for, or stand for District Governor, or District Representative for Congress.
Neverland District Tax: 1200 golles per year
Levy on the District of Neverland property. District Tax is a taxation system introduced before the construction of the city of Mount Vema is completed to help off-plan buyers (owners of Mount Vema title plans) to better manage their long-term financial plans.

Liability for District Tax
The occupiers of a property are liable, regardless of tenure, or the owners if the property is unoccupied, except if the property is a 'house in multiple occupation', in which case the landlord is liable for paying the District Tax.
