Gollexi, the Mount Vema Stock Exchange has opened its two hours a week training course of 'How to Become a Gollexi Trader', to teach people how to use its e-trading facility especially for self-directed investing or DIY (do-it-yourself) investing.
The course was created after more than 500 people applied to trade on Gollexi this year but failed to understand how it works. With the site been reorganized and made simple to use last week, the market realized that training was key. Gollexi trading is simply buying and selling assets online.
The Gollexi is not only used by investment bankers, or other institutional investors, it is an e-trading facility for self-directed investing or DIY (do-it-yourself) investing. It serves as a hub for investors and traders worldwide. The new simplified site enables investors to place buy and sell orders; place market, limit, stop, stop-loss, and stop-limit orders; check the status of an order; view real-time stock quotes; read news on companies; view the list of securities currently held through the dashboard; etc. An investor can also access his or her investment statements, and confirmation statements.
The trading course is focused on how to make money trading securities on the Mount Vema Stock Exchange, with one-on-one or group mentoring to help reinforce those concepts. Including real-time sessions to show the techniques in practice. Helping traders quickly get to a point where they’re comfortable developing their own trading techniques.
The course costs vary but starts with 100 golles for 2 hours. "These figures may seem high on the surface, but in a market where thousands can be lost in just minutes, it’s worth the money to get a good education." Said the Gollexi on its website. The cost is also an ‘investment’ that may help aspiring traders follow through with their goals, as the courses are designed to quickly get someone to a point where they’re comfortable developing strategies and executing trades.
Traders will learn how to have the confidence and knowledge to trade on Gollexi on daily basis, discover how to minimize their risk with every trade, understand the language of the Gollexi market and trade like a professional, acquire the skills they need to trade any security in the Gollexi.
The course is for complete beginners to semi-experienced traders. There is no prior knowledge required, and once you book, it takes 10 days before your session starts. After the course, it will be easier to make money trading on the Gollexi, as an investors or a traders. To open, close, and manage market positions. All you will need to do is to maintain a funded account.
As part of its commitment to international development cooperation and to promote internationalization of its education systems, the Mount Vema government awards government-funded scholarships to international students from around the world.
Some scholarships are in the form of tuition fee waivers only, some only cover living expenses, while some offer a partial cash grant but there are those scholarship programs that cover both tuition fee and living expenses and sometimes include travel costs, book allowance, and including insurance. Fully funded scholarships provide most, if not all, of what is needed to pursue studies abroad.
The scholarship program which has resumed this year, will close today at 5 pm for 2018 applicants. People who want to study anywhere or in their own country and at the same time want the benefit of an international education, subscription for distance learning education is still opened. It is cheaper than actually studying abroad because everything is done online.

The Right to Self-Determination
Many believe because our community is not a member of the United Nations and is only just over a decade old, doing business with the Kingdom of Mount Vema is not possible for foreign nationals and foreign companies seeking to take advantage of the business opportunities the floating city project is creating. Nothing could be further from the truth. The territory doesn't need a United Nations membership to function as a sovereign territory, or to exercise its inalienable right for self-determination
