Registrar of Births and Deaths

The Mount Vema Registrar of Births and Deaths is the government agency responsible for receiving the registrations of births and deaths, as a legal requirement to notify the authorities of either one of these two important life events within the Kingdom of Mount Vema, or involving Mount Vema citizens overseas.

The primary purpose of this registration is to create the legal document (certificate) that can be used to establish and protect the rights of individuals involved. The secondary purpose is to create the data source for the compilation of vital government data.

The events that are recorded on the register include live birth, adoption, and death. Among the legal documents that are derived from civil registration are birth certificates, adoption certificates, and death certificates.
