Who can open a Mount Vema bank account?
You need to be over 18 to open an account. If you are under 18 you can open an account with your parents’ help.
  • Minimum Balance - except for savings accounts, the RBMV Bank standard account requires you maintain a minimum balance of ₲1000 golles.
  • Standard Account Maintenance Fee - the RBMV Bank will charge you the account maintenance fee of ₲25.70 golles for a personal standard account per month, and ₲65.10 golles for any other type of standard account per month (including for Businesses, NGOs, and Governments). 
  • Minimum monthly deposits - There are no minimum deposits, however if you have an active savings account, we recommend to make deposits before the 28th of the month as distribution of earnings are counted from the 1st of the month to the 28th of the month, and paid on or after the 5th of the following month.
  • Earnings on Savings - Savings accounts are free of charge and can earn from 0.01% to 2% per month. Fixed rates apply only with special deals for an agreed period of time, and earnings are deposited into your account automatically when special deals apply.
  • Savings Account Maintenance Fee - Savings accounts are free of charge.
