912 Notice: Rescue and emergencies response drills

The Mount Vema Ministry of Security and Emergency Response has issued a statement early this week to inform all contractors and subcontractors who have signed agreements, and those who are yet to sign their contracts with Mount Vema to provide rescue and emergencies services to the territory that the scheduled 912 system and emergency response drills will start on the 25th of August 2024.

The Ministry has confirmed that the emergencies telephone line 912 will be operational from the end of August. So, although some drills may take place outside Mount Vema, foreign contractors providing personnel for the coast guard, the police, the ambulance services, field medical services, and the fire rescue services are advised to be on standby from the 2nd of August 2024 for deployment if required. >>>
