HISTORY OF THE FAMILY NAME
History of the Mount Vema Royal Family Name
The Mount Vema royal family has two family names which are both Caposso Loter and Goldishman. Caposso is only used by direct relatives of the King´s Father: ´Arthur´ Miguel Caposso, and the King´s Mother: ´Teresa´ Maria Helena. However, Goldishman is only used by direct descendants of the Sovereign, Peter Jon Goldishman of Mount Vema.
As a sovereign, Peter, has no predecessor, he is the founding father of the Mount Vema Society and the first ruler of the territory. Just like so many Monarchies throughout history all over the world who must traditionally adopt a new name to symbolise their new title, Mount Vema had its share of the experience and transformation in 2006 when Vema Seamount was declared a sovereign territory.
Peter was as a child baptised as Paulo, and assumed a new name to symbolize the birth of the Kingdom of Mount Vema, and thus became, His Royal Majesty King Peter Jon Goldishman of Mount Vema - The Vema Seamount Authority.
