Irish Taoiseach Leo VARADKAR invited to visit the Vema Seamount Territory

Taoiseach Leo VARADKAR, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Ireland was invited to visit the Vema Seamount territory in November 2020. The invitation is part of the Vema Seamount Authority efforts to reconnect and strengthen ties with the Republic of Ireland.
 
The Vema Seamount Authority who lived in the Republic of Ireland since 1998, has finally made contact, almost Twenty years after to invite the Irish Prime Minister to see and presence the works to be undertaken in the South Atlantic, within the Vema Seamount territorial waters.
 
He used the invitation to open a line of communication for bilateral talks between both parties to seek cooperation and open the doors to Irish companies who wish to get involved in the City of Mount Vema project especially in technology and finance.
