Notice: Second Academy of Mount Vema and its Boarding Schools currently operating outside Mount Vema will continue with online teaching (virtual school services) only until 2022. The Academy will continue to make available academic tutors online and in person to provide tutelage to students who require assistance on certain subject areas or skills, throughout the academic year if required.
Second Academy and Private Education
The Second Academy of the Kingdom of Mount Vema, is a school which provides secondary education, between the ages of 11 and 18, after First Academy and before higher education. These services are privately operated but regulated by His Mount Vema Majesty’s Government, who subsidizes the costs including for boarding schools overseas.
The Second Academy incorporates SAG1, the first three years of second education (Grades 1, 2, and 3) and SAG2, second two years of second education (Grades 4, and 5). Second Academy Grade 1 is abbreviated as SAG1, and it is the legal term for the three years of education in maintained academies of Mount Vema.

SAG2 is the legal term for the two years of academy education which incorporate MVCSAs (The Mount Vema Certificate of Second Academy, which is an academic qualification awarded in a specified subject, taken in a number of subjects by students aged 14–16 in Second Academy in Mount Vema and other exams, in maintained academies of the Kingdom of Mount Vema) of the Mount Vema National Curriculum. After 16 compulsory education ends young people can decide whether to continue their studies further at the Royal Academy of Mount Vema, or Kingdom of Mount Vema College (KMV College), or leave the education system.
