Relaxed rule that permits owners of Off-Plan property titles to stand for congress to be repealed

Under the election rule introduced in 2020, or Royal Order 22092020-1, anyone with a significant interest in the Mount Vema Society or within the Vema Seamount territorial waters can stand as a candidate in district and general elections.

However, this rule according to VSBCnews will be repealed this year, and will affect everyone who is planning to buy a Mount Vema Title Plan, holder of a Mount Vema Government marketable security such as MVG-Notes or MVG-Bonds for the purpose of standing as candidates in Mount Vema elections in the future.

The current relaxed rule which was due to be repealed in December 31st 2054 to give way for Mount Vema citizens to become the only qualified people to stand as candidates in any election in Mount Vema from January 1st 2055, will be repealed this year according to sources familiar with government plans.
