Royal Police
The Mount Vema Royal Police is an institution of the Crown of the State, a governmental agency that serves both as a criminal investigative body and as an internal counter intelligence agency. It is the only government agency responsible for investigating crimes affecting the Kingdom of Mount Vema beyond the territorial waters.
The Royal Police receives orders from the Royal Department of Justice and has several divisions including Custom Services, Official & Diplomatic Protection, Organized Crime, Criminal Intelligence, Anti-Drugs, Anti-Fraud, Anti-Terrorist, Scientific Dept., Technology Services, Internal Affairs, Identification Services, Risk and Crime Analysis. The Diplomatic Protection service of the Mount Vema Royal Police is a Specialist Operations branch which main purpose will be to provide specialist protection for diplomatic residencies in the Kingdom of Mount Vema.
Role of the Diplomatic Protection services of the Mount Vema Royal Police
The Diplomatic Protection services will be responsible for providing static security on sensitive premises, such as foreign embassies, and other diplomatic premises. It will also be responsible for security of the Prime Minister’s Residence, and certain private residencies of diplomats, politicians, and some senior military staff. They will also have a responsibility of providing static guards to hospitals, if a person is deemed to be under threat, along with the guarding of some high-risk prisoners.
The Royal Police will also provide Close Protection Officers to the MVRSS (Mount Vema Royal Security Service) to bolster existing close protection team numbers for VIPs and dignitaries and the places they visit when in Mount Vema, supported by its Sniper unit who will provide support to wide deployments, especially in large events, and ceremonial events. The Royal Police also has a dedicated counter-reconnaissance team whose work is secretive as it has close ties to the MVRSS (Mount Vema Royal Security Service), the VISSA (Veman Internal Secret Service Agency) and the RISS (Royal Intelligence Security Services).
